- LA Riots Kill Bill
Unless you've been living in a cave for the past three years, you know that one of the best videos out there is Tyler's Kill Spike. Each time I listen to anything that's related to Kill Bill's soundtrack, I can't help but picture Tyler's video in my mind.
It happened again a few weeks ago while I was listening to some mix on bbc's radio 1, featuring LA Riot's Kill Bill, which uses samples from the Kill Bill OST.
While listening to that tune, I realized it could be interesting/fun/stupid to remix an AMV. After all, that's what DJs do with music all the time ! I've already remixed some of my work in NoiseVid SR, and well, Bucephalus Bouncing Recursive AMV is a remix of itself, so why not remixing other creators' vids ?
This amv can be considered as a tribute/slaughter/bad joke, whatever...
When I have an idea for an AMV, I think it's cool for a week or so, and then I get bored. So, following the pattern of most of my "recent" AMVs, this video was created in a week.
It does not mean I didn't put my heart into it, actually, it contains most of the ideas I have put in many videos that ended up in the trash bin over the last two years. In other words, it is the result of two years of work, ideas, concepts that got refined and concentrated into one video.
But it does mean, however, that you shouldn't expect first class effects or transitions... I have not touched my editing software for months, and, as I said, I'm easily bored.
However I still think the concept is nice, the synchro is accurate and the rhythm's good, and the video is probably very enjoyable even if you don't know Tyler's one, as long as you have good speakers ;)
