This video summarizes a single episode (20) of Cowboy Bebop. I directed (cut and clipped) but the idea and artistic direction came from Deadpool.
The song very oddly seems to fit the episode near exactly. We barely even resequenced the events, however we did sync things up with the lyrics. Pay attention to what's going on in the main verse and the screen, and you'll see the story unfold, especially if you've seen the episode already.
No fancy effects, just timing. A few speed ups to match beats and lyrics. Some of the beat matching is pretty eerie as characters seem to move or dance entirely to the song.
This was a fun video, I hope everyone enjoys it. It's not meant to be a technical achievement, just enjoyable. People who are fans of the series should appreciate it greatly.
