This is just a character profile dedicated to the 'Countess Jean de la Motte-Valois' in the Anime the Rose of Versailles. She was an excellent manipulator and managed to con her way to the top of French Society, orchestrating the Affair of the Necklace before finally being caught out and imprisoned.
Whilst ultimately she wasn't that nice of a person, you've got to admire her character. Never once did she give in... even brashly saying in caught that the Queen was her lesbian lover *laughs* just to get the spotlight off of her own deeds. It worked though, the people all thought she was awesome.
I wanted to give this video a different look as the anime is over 30 years old now, so I used alot of filters to make it appear more stylish. Plus, it went with the song better.
