Tag "Other" as "almost-instrumental" for this here SH video #60. I did spend a lot of time doing the intro for this one, but less time than I spent editing the video, which is good in its own way. The intro is there for a reason, no matter how out of character it may seem; it was on there on the CD, so it's in there in the video.
This video would just flat out not have been possible without Donald Graft's 'colorize' filter for Virtual Dub. Sepiatoning the source animation smoothed out many major problems with rainbowing and pixellation created by the poor original digital transfer and the suboptimal subsequent compression. Other effects included some framerate accelleration, and I think also a reversal, plus ofcourse the SSMM compositing used in making the opening titles.
Shin Hats Self Grade: A-/B+. There are parts I could have edited a little tighter, and there are several places in which I'm being held back by the condition of the source, but overall, this is a decent video, and the intro will hopefully be cool enough to put it over the top.
