This AMV is meant to show situation in the Holy Forest Akademy (Onizuka's school) from different points of view. And like GTO some may find it's positive ending one-sided, but afterall it shows some Values. I tried to join 2 basic aspects of GTO : intereesting action-comedy and more importantly deeper sometimes psychological tale.
I think this AMV will be clear to anyone not just GTO fans. At least in majority of frames.
"Onizuka is coming for you" motif (present in first part and refrain) can be misjudged as random scenes, but they're there on the purpose. I really liked the idea "he's coming for youuuuuu" so even if it's hard I let it stay.
There arent't much effects, but also GTO doesn't have plenty either. Since I don't know good special effects usage yet I didn't want it to screw whole vid or make contrast with original scenes. I think that Offisping is ideal band for GTO vids
And as always in my vids - audio is crutial for understanding video. (lyrics below). Nevertheless this time song's last lines weren't as similar in meaning with my idea so I've skipped them. As always I try to be faightful to the song's feeling - not just "word-by-word" lyrics-synch which I find too restricting and not very bright.

Uchiyamada :
A school is a place to teach not to play.
Onizuka:
And why not? What's wrong with playing?
Uchiyamada :
What's that?
Onizuka:
Hey! When I was in junior high-school I used to play 24h a day. And I was learning plenty.
(used in ending part)

Uchiyamada :
Don't you understand? The entire future of a student depends on the 6 years of junior and senior high-school. Whether he can get into the best university and then into a top company and eventually get the proper promotions depend primarily on this 6 years.
Onizuka:
I don't know - that way of thinking seems pretty old-fashioned. Besides a lot of those big companies are going bankrupt these days. For my information those 6 years of junior-high and high-schoiol are far more important as so-called "golden years".
Uchiyamada :
Meaning what?
Onizuka:
Meaning you have to learn to get your priorities straight. Like knowing who your true friends are and realise in ityou can count on them when you need their help.

" The kids aren't alright" lyrics
(by:Offspring)
(only used part)
When we were young, the future was so bright, whoa
The old neighborhood was so alive, whoa
And every kid on the whole damn street, whoa
Was gonna make it big and not be beat
Now, the neighborhoods cracked and torn, whoa
The kids are grown up, but their lives are worn, whoa
How can one little street
Swallow so many lives
Chances thrown, nothings free
Longing for what used to be
Still, its hard, hard to see
Fragile lives, shattered dreams
Jamie had a chance, well, she really did, whoa
Instead, she dropped out and had a couple of kids, whoa
Mark still lives at home cause hes got no job, whoa
He just plays guitar and smokes a lotta pot
Jay committed suicide, whoa
Brandon odd and died, whoa
What the hell is going on
The cruelest dream, reality
Chances thrown, nothings free
Longing for what used to be
Still, its hard, hard to see
Fragile lives, shattered dreams
Go!
