This video was made specifically for the Animasia Project, released on January 1, 2006. Now that the project is well-past its first-day freshness, I decided I'll add the video to the catalogue for completeness sake.
The video is a somewhat unusual take on Spriggan - I tried as best I could to avoid the typical macho-action-orientedness for this movie, and instead made a video that revolves around its background landscapes (not to say there's no action). Embracing the eastern mystique and whatnot.
Titles are used throughout the video to give it a bit of a context, but they're really vague and I think the video can be enjoyed while completely ignoring them.
Looking back at it 2 years after I made it, I still really like it. The sync isn't ultra-stellar, at least on the editing front, but I think the internal sync and the unusual angle more than make up for it.
No long description this time!
I'd only like to mention that I'm uploading the video for two reasons -
-Now that I learned that HDs can and do fail, I think it's best to let it out, otherwise I might lose this video
-I'm going away to Russia for quite a while starting tomorrow, and I thought it'd be nice to throw it out there before I go!
I'd like to thank Pen-Pen2002, rose4emily, downwithpants, and anyone I might have forgotten for helping me with constant and regular feedback. At the peak of Animasia, when this video was made, the project cooperation was absolutely amazing and I can safely say that this video owes its existence to it.
I would also like to thank jasper-isis for feedback, awesome work on finishing Animasia when it got past its peak (), and of course - resizing and encoding this video, preserving the video as you see it now!
