• Comments: My third video to date. The history behind this video was a long one. It all began last year after Fanime 2005 ended and I just picked up Outlaw Star at the con. I loved the show, and I wanted to make a AMV out of it. Durring the summer, soon after the con ended, I was trying to think of a video idea for what would work with the show. The orginal concept for the video was to have it edited to the song "Breakin' The Law" by Judas Priest. Obvious reasons why, Outlaws, breaking the law, oh how orginal. I thought the idea was good at the time, but as the summer continued on, the idea sort of just faded away.
  
  In the middle of the summer, I put a hold on my Outlaw Star video and moved over to an Hellsing idea, bwing I just finished watching Hellsing TV for the first time. Problem was, couldn't think of a great idea, just sort of a generic one. Sure I could have opted for a generic one, but for some reason, a part of me didn't want to. So I have the footage ripped ready to make, but no video has thus been made using the footage I have at this point.
  
  Near the end of the summer, I was goofing off and trying to think of other videos. Alas, to no avail, nothing seemed to work ou the way I wanted to. With my college Semester about to start, I had to putt a hold on my projects and worry about school. A few months past until Guitar Hero came out, which would give me the idea for my next video which would eventually become my third.
  
  Around early december I discover the song that clicked with me. Sort of a switch that was flipped in my head. Playing Guitar Hero, I came accross the song "Stellar" by Incubus. As I play the song, I listen to the lyrics listed below:

  The first thing that popped into my mind was "I think I have an idea for my OS video". Soon after the semester ended, I began to rip the footage and process it, cleaning as many artifacts as I could. I did that durring the month I had off before the next semester started. As soon as the next semester started, I could only pull the clips I needed when I got the chance. The process took over a few months, not solid months, but over the course of a few months. The actual editing and putting the video together took place durring spring break. I had intended for some extra editing, but the time I was alloted before Fanime's AMV contest 2006 and with miterms and finals, I just couldn't do the extra detailing in my video.
  
  In the end, the video is not a personal favorite of mine, but those I have shown it to seem to really like it. But hey, you be the judge. I hope you enjoy it.
