• Comments: Tohru from "Fruits Basket" is like a Japanese "Pollyanna" in that she has a positive affect on many of the people she interacts with. How she does this without being popular, rich, smart, or absolutely beautiful is hard to explain. Like the song states, "She's got a way....". Some of the Sohma family understand Tohru's "way", are discovering it, or are still trying to figure it out. This video hopefully shows that .
  
  I considered the song lyrics as the inner thoughts and feelings of Tohru's friends, so their reactions to her were more important for me to show than simply tossing around multiple pictures of Tohru in homage to her pollyannaness. That's part of the reason why at the beginning I chose partial shots of Tohru; her skirt, her shoulder, her eye. When searching for a meaning or understanding of something, a person often studies certain details and doesn't focus on the whole, and, thus, my other reason for the partial shots at the start. Hopefully the lyrics and the images will show the concept without further explaination on my part, but if not, please feel free to ask.
