• Comments: I had been struggling with some serious editors block. I had several concepts floating around in my head...all solid action or techno videos that would have been right in line with the last few videos I have produced. I just couldn't get started on them. I found myself with three solid, uninterrupted hours of computer access, and I decided to tun out another sentimental video, just to get the creative juices flowing.
  
  I have developed quite the backlog of videos in my brain. I have about five ideas that I have promised myself I will complete, and his has been one of them for a long time. In this instance, I had the song, and I was looking for the right footage. I decided that this music was ideal for a character profile of one of the supporting characters from Elfen Leid, a series that I holds several other places in my mental "to-do"list.
  
  The beauty of this video is that I was able to concentrate on telling the tragic story of the character wthout using a lot of footage or effects. I gave it a bit of a twist on the actual series, representing her suicide as a final act that she actually followed through with, after her tortured and brief childhood.
  
  The lyrics are quite meaningful to me. I have heard from some who say, "but there are no stairs in your video." Look a little deeper past the surface meaning of the words and I think you will find the images appropriate.
