Thanks to the people on the forum for giving me advice to get out of the artistic slump I've been in for over a year. After several failed projects I picked up the DDR soundtrack after viewing two of the DDR projects. This caused me to start playing around again with my video equipment until I came out with one I was comfortable submitting.
The video is composed entirely of the last fight between Takimi and Kenshin. The flashes of Sanosuke, Kaoru and Yahiko are meant to symbolize Kenshin's determination to survive. The original plan was to have it be the first fight in the movie, but I realized that the music fit the last battle better and changed it. Effects wise there isn't much besides a few flashes with the emphasis on the action and the music. Overall it took 3 to 4 hours to go from the rough idea to the final video. And I realized afterwards that the name of the song as written in the video is misspelled. My mistake.
Quality wise it's the best I could produce with the source video (ripped from an older DVD) and motion lines are still somewhat present despite running it through Virtual Dub. Some of my Movie Maker's settings still need to be tweaked to get the best possible output. Best viewed with Divx player.
And just so it's clear, the audio is supposed to start a few seconds into the video. That was intentional.
Once again thanks for the forum support that helped me get started again.
