- Comments: Pre-production: Well, so far I'm putting this up here so I can catalog my idea. My basic concept for this AMV is the relationship between Shinji and Rei. I plan on creating more than what they have. Rei is Shinji's 'angel'. I even thought of reversing the roles for a twist on things, but the scenes wouldn't convey it too well. I've got the EVA box set and plan on watching the series one more time while taking notes and then re-watch it while capturing footage. If I hurry, I can submit this to AWA 8 this year.... but with work and eighteen days to create I don't think this will happen. I'd need time for afterthoughts and such. Ikuze!!
