    This AMV won 1st place in the CSUMB Japanese Anime Club’s AMV contest.

    The moment I first heard this song, I knew it would be perfect for an AMV. Originally, I thought of using the song for AMV Shorts 3. When my school’s Anime club announced that they were having an AMV contest, I then decided that the song would be better for a stand-alone AMV.

    I made this AMV during the week of spring break, and I found that I had a little trouble finding enough clips for it. To make my job easier (in finding clips and for working on a tight schedule), I chose to go with a shortened version of the song. General dancing clips are easy enough to find if you know where to look, but clips of people dancing really stupidly was a little harder than I thought.

    For the end credits, I made my own little animation based off of the recently popular stupid dancing animated gifs that I’ve been seeing on the internet for about a month now (who knows what they are known as – you’ll know it when you see it). I could have gone with just about any anime character, but since I couldn’t think of one, I decided to just make a chibi version of myself doing the really stupid dance (stupid, but in a silly, funny kind of way).
