  If you have played the PS2 game Kingdom Hearts, you might agree with me that many of the KH AMVs in this database are somewhat misrepresentative of the game. Most use only about 3% of all "AMV-able" video footage from the game. But it was the entire Kingdom Hearts that I fell in love with, not just its opening and ending movies. So I set out to create a tribute video that would, in my eyes, do the game justice.
  
  I created this AMV in the spirit of Kingdom Hearts. It is meant to be every bit as colorful, dramatic, fun, and gratuitous (and even corny!) as the game itself. The concept is nothing groundbreaking, and there are no mind-blowing special effects. This AMV is what it is. If you are a Kingdom Hearts fan, I hope you will love this video. If you are not, then I hope that I have made it accessible enough for you to enjoy it still.
  
  To create this AMV, I played the game over the course of four months, capturing all the cutscenes via a line-in to my digital camcorder. I then spent another month organizing and cleaning up the footage. As always, procrastination settled in once everything was ready for editing, and it took me until the month of July to complete this video.
  
  This project would not have happened if I weren't stumped about what to give my good friend (and studio partner) krzT for her 18th birthday this spring. I am, of course, a total procrastinator, so now I'm releasing this as a very belated present on krzT's half-birthday. One of the two easter eggs in this AMV relates to this purpose. See if you can find the other! >:]
  
  All of my usual beta-testers were out of the country or otherwise unavailable this summer, so I pretty much flew solo on this project. In the end I recruited Madbunny, who helped me look at the video in ways that I hadn't thought of before. Much thanks!
