  This is definitely one of those videos where the song came first. I liked Conjure One's debut album a lot, so when I heard they had come up with a new one I just had to get it. As a whole the album was maybe a slight disappointment, but there were two or three really good tracks, namely the songs sung by Poe (credited as Jane). I really wanted to do something with "Endless Dream", but couldn't come up with anything.
  
  A few weeks after I had heard the song I saw the movie "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" and quickly noticed the similarities between the two. The match was actually surprisingly good. Finally when I was without an Internet connection for a month and a half, I found the motivation to start working on the video.
  
  As always, there were some technical problems. For some reason the bait & switch trick didn't work correctly in Vegas and introduced annoying one-frame changes to the video. I had to encode the whole movie to a 25 GB Lagarith file and use that instead of AVS scripts. Some of the darker scenes also had to be filtered separately to get rid of temporal noise. Since the movie is so well animated, I didn't do much frame-by-frame manipulation. Exceptions are 3:48 where I covered lip flap that bothered me and 4:06 where I cut out the characters with animated masks.
