    WARNING: If you are looking for a video that has been shit bashed by effects… look else where.

    This is so to speak, my very first amv [meaning I actually sat down and did a little effort, note little…] This is my first Premiere job [and it sucks] – I didn’t know head from tail – I had no guides – nada… so I did what any other hot-blooded otaku at that stage would do… I figured it out on my own.

    I was staying at a friends house for the weekend, when all of the sudden his sister starts playing a Creed song, the song? Sacrifice. The instant I heard the song images raced into my mind. Evangelion – Rei & Shinji together. Since Rei dies several times or is involved in a few battles were she ends up sacrificing herself, it seemed perfect. Now I have to admit this AMV might seem somewhat strange because I had to manipulate quite a few things to make it seem there was some kind of love story going on between Rei & Shinji [The really perceptive people will notice what I have manipulated]
    What I aimed for in this AMV was for the “Tear Jerker” effect. Many of my friends told me that’s exactly what it did, so I was quite pleased.

    At this point and time I knew the basic ins and outs of Premiere, but I still could not anything spectacular. I used really good quality footage, but I’m not quite satisfied [it could have been better, at the sacrifice of size]
    Overall I’m quite satisfied with the outcome, if you think otherwise leave an opinion.

    My editing style and preferences have drastically changed since then - that was written a few months after I discovered anime [I was a full blown otaku back then] - I look back on this vid and I cant help but chuckle – I was such a naďve little kid back then….

    I don’t expect any feedback, actually I shudder at the thought – I uploaded this for the sole reason of showing my 2 year progression
