[average 119.7 of 229502 opinions; standard deviation 434 ] - Profile: Thanks to the copyright BS earlier this year, Megaupload is gone along with the AMVs I uploaded there. Will upload them both here and on a safer file hosting site when I'm not lazy. Annnnnnny day now....
NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE: If you downloaded amvs #s 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 before December 22nd 2010 they were slightly off sync by 3 milliseconds whether you noticed it or did not. They are now in correct sync and ready for download, the other amvs are fine. My previous rendering software made the footages from every single one of the amvs I specified slightly out of sync from the tracks they each belonged to by 3 milliseconds. One of the days in December of last year I reformatted each of these amvs except #28 since I didn't make it at the time in 1280x720 and took their previous versions down for some stupid-ass reason and uploaded them all on the same day. After I saw that one amv in mid-October that wuz outta sync I checked the rest that I uploaded on the same day and they all had the same problem, I used the same rendering software for #28 when I finished it in March of 2010 so I wuz mind-fucked for a good 17 minutes when I found out that over half of the amvs I uploaded on the org were slightly off sync. You can't tell unless you pay real close attention but they were still slightly off sync from the original versions to me so when I realized what happened I just had to do work. They're in 640x480 size now and in smaller file sizes so if you downloaded any of these amvs before December 22nd 2010 chances are they were slightly off sync whether you noticed it or did not, they are now corrected synced versions ready for download. My 25th amv wuz corrected in July 2010 but I didnt take the time to check the other amvs until later on. Thank you.
Justin Davis, aka Jwalk from South Carolina. Born a Pisces on St.Patrick's Day of '87. I'm a laid-back college student who loves to spend most of his time learning and acknowledging the ways of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. During this I love to make money and further my education. I like to crack jokes and make people feel comfortable around me whether I'm on the clock or not. At the same, I try my best to be a leader and not a follower when it comes to what we all must do so we can join in the same place in our afterlives. I treasure the people I socialize with and want the best for all of them despite their pasts and backgrounds. Ironically I also have my nigga side too, piss me off and I'll transform into public enemy #1 whether it be online or offline. My motto used to be "Shit Happens", but later on it turned into, "Life Is How We Make It". In my free time I spend time with my people, watch TV, play video games, listen to music, step dancing, basketball, make amvs, and surf the web. I hate smoking and I'll never start, drinking...on special occassions. Becoming a fan of anime has become a part of my life since pre-skool and I think everyone who loves watching anime, making em, and amvs are extremely creative and show signs of just what we can all do when we put our minds to it. Most people don't recognize it as a great art form which is a shame. Before I opened my account on YouTube in February of 2007 I saw amvs as wastes of time because what I've seen before then was garbage, I watched alotta decent ones on that website and decided to give it a shot myself. I started editing near the end of November and uploaded my first amv tha next month on YT, received good praise from it and I was motivated to keep editing as one of my hobbies. Best place to hit me up is at my YT channel, I dont mind getting to know new people, especially if they like my work.
Currently I've made 33 FULL amv projects and all of them are on YT for viewing, I'm going to upload all of em here eventually when I re-edit 10 seconds or more on each but one which is my first amv. I SERIOUSLY appreciate constructive criticism, as long as its CONSTRUCTIVE. I dunno how some editors can not be able to appreciate when someone gives them that kind of criticism cause in my opinion they are looking out for your ass by doing that so your skills will amp up cause no one is perfect, if we were perfect we wouldn't be able to enjoy doing or watching amvs cause we'll get bored so to all my rookies: TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM TO HEART!!
On a side note, in my "10 Favorite Anime" list, the #7 spot is reserved for The Boondocks, its american anime but its still anime and a tite-ass one at that. Along with being an action/drama fan I am also a romance/comedy plus comedy fan as well. I will list my top ten romance/comedy animes when I feel like it.
