I'm just your average High School student attending school at Suncoast Community High School, specifically enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program (IBP). A renowned course and school in the American Academic Community, Suncoast has an above average workload and learning standard. You can assume that stress is sure to follow. Freshmen year was the worst; my sleep habits were lax, workload was more than my previous schools, and my attention span didn't help any. With all this going around me, I started watching anime more often since it was something I enjoyed prior and to watch it for stress relief was just a huge plus. During these Watch-Anime-To-Relieve-Stress sessions, I stumbled upon an Anime Music Video. After watching a few, I thought it looked like fun to make one and since I have had previous experience with Windows Movie Maker, I thought I'd give it a try. That would be when I first got into AMV editing. For, the first few months of attempting, WMM would crash on me every time (Codec issues, which I had yet to be familiarized with). However, I found WMV error-free and from that point I had completed my first Anime Music Video.
It has been a year since that video and my ideology and theory on editing AMV has leaped bounds. Though, I'm still editing as often as I can and my passion for it has grown with my experience.
Most of my videos [Mostly the latest ones] are uploaded on [insert name of indiscriminate video hosting site] and if you want to preview what you're getting before downloading it, check out my [insert name of indiscriminate video hosting site] Channel.
ABOUT MY SOFTWARE(S): I edit solely with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0, mainly due to the fact I don't want to burden my parents with the expenses of programs like Pro, Photoshop, and AfterEffects. However, DANG IT, I will get these programs when I get a job...for college. Anyways, I'm opposed to getting them through the "usual" means, so yeah, deal with the simplicity for now.
NOTICE: All Anime Music Videos I uploaded onto my AMV.org account are the final and corrected versions of the ones seen on [insert name of indiscriminate video hosting site]. This means what you see on [insert name of indiscriminate video hosting site] is the "second" draft of the copies available here.
