  • Profile: Hi everyone. My name is Erik Norelus and I'm currently MomoCon's AMV Exhibitions Director, and the Director of Seishun-con's AMV department. I have been creating AMVs since I was a Junior in high school, so as of 07/26/11, I have been editing for over 5 years. Oh and, if anyone was wondering, I'm currently 22 years old. {July 26th 1989}.

    My first AMV was a DBZ AMV that used the song "Feel Good Inc" by Gorilaz. The video was far from perfect.....or even good for that matter. But even so, it was my first creation, and I took so much pride in it that I started making more and more AMVs in order to become a better editor.

    I don't think that I will ever upload my first AMVs though. The main reason for this is because a hard drive crash caused me to loose all of my files. To make matters worse, most of my original AMVs have been removed from both Google Video and Youtube. If anyone would like to see whats left of them, here is a link to my youtube page.

    I consider myself to primarily be a drama AMV editor, so I often spend most of my time story-boarding. I love to make all kinds of AMVs, but drama has always been my favorite. Also, there are a few guidelines that I like to follow in terms of making AMVs.

    * 1) If I get an idea for an AMV, I will only go ahead and make it if it hasn't already been done. For this reason and many more, I may never make another Naruto or Linkin Park AMV.

    * 2) I try to make AMVs that don't use anime and songs that have been overused, For this reason and many more, I may never make another Naruto or Linkin Park AMV.

    * 3) I will never use the same song for more than one of my AMVs, and I try not to use the same anime or music group more than twice. For this reason and many more, I may never make another Naruto or Linkin Park AMV.

    And just to make things clear, these are not rules. I merely use them as guidelines. So for this reason and many more, I don't want to be bothered if I actually do decide to make another Naruto or Linkin Park AMV. (But you really shouldn't count on it) :-)
