Well, let's see. More than a year worth of video editing and nothing to show for it. Why is that? Because for the second time, we've suffered a data loss set-back. The second hard drive we used to store the majority of our current projects on just completely crapped out one day and is inaccessible. We started looking around for computer fix-it shops, and the lowest price quote we got was $600 just for the data recovery. Otherwise, the hard drive is fried and unfixable. If the data can be saved from it, we are looking at a cost of no less than $600. Needless to say, this has been infuriating, and if I still had the original receipt for that hard drive, I would be calling up it's maker now, demanding that they pay for the data recovery, as the piece of crap didn't even last A YEAR.
In the meantime, we're kind of stuck inbetween a rock and a hard place. Do we wait around even longer and see if we can get a better deal on getting our video projects back? Or do we start from scratch all over again? The very idea of the latter just infuriates us. In the meantime, we have bought a far more expensive second hard drive with a good reputation, and have purchased an extended coverage plan for it. So we have started up a few new projects to try and take our minds off the anger we have over losing 13 different AMV projects; some of them, such as 'Insane', we had been working on for more than 5 years. So a lot of work down the tubes.
In the meantime, we'll try to catch up on replying to all the opinions that have been left for us over the past several months. Thanks again to all of you who have continued to download our videos and have left feedback, and thank you for continuing to recommend our AMVs to other fans across the internet.
Thank you again to everyone for their outstanding support and well-wishes!!

Hello!
You've come upon the AMV account for Second Element Video. We are a studio made up of 2 guys and 1 girl ( the latter of which maintains this account ). Although we dabble in various anime sources, we are most well known for our unique Inu Yasha videos. While our first finished AMV attempt is "Two Way Dream", we made a name for ourselves among the Inu Yasha fans with "Rose in the Wind" ( which is funny, as we consider that video very much incomplete and lacking ). "The Other Side of Time" really put us on the Inu Yasha map, as it is our most downloaded AMV, with currently over 40,000 downloads. We can only assume word of mouth put it over the top, so we are incredibly grateful towards all the fans and "repeat customers" that continue to download and enjoy our videos.
AMVs are our hobby, but as can continue to shape our style of writing and editing, we hope to someday go to competition. Not so much to win anything, but to get more exposure. To those our viewers who continue to download our newest videos, and have been with us since the beginning, our deepest gratitude. We want you to experience something new with each of our videos, and without you, we would have no reason to continue making more. Thank you for your continued support, enthusiasm, and encouragement.
