[average 119.7 of 229409 opinions; standard deviation 434.1 ] - Profile: My first exposure to AMVs was AMV Hell 3, which I watched at a friend's house in 2005. I immediately became addicted, and after locating the org I downloaded every good AMV I could find. I dabbled with WMM a couple of times and then graduated to Premiere, which proved much more versatile and demanding.
At some point during this process I attended my first convention, Anime Evolution 2006 at SFU. They had a pretty big dedicated AMV room, which I thought was incredibly cool. I resolved to make an AMV that would be good enough to get into a contest.
The next year me & my wife attended SakuraCon 2007. Against all of my expectations, my Fatal Frame AMV Crimson Butterfly not only got into the contest, but won a couple of awards. This was the point of no return : I edited stuff like a mad thing.
Right now, I'm 37 and I work as a code monkey for a consumer electronics company.
