"Creative work is not a selfish act or a bid for attention on the part of the actor. It's a gift to the world and every being in it. Don't cheat us of your contribution. Give us what you've got."
I never expected this to happen.
I overheard a college buddy of mine was talking about teh Org and I was interested to see what kind of place would be cool enough to be dedicated to having just fan made videos. I came to the site, registered...and left for two years. I had seen a few AMV's before but the event, well series of events that got me into this hobby was Anime Expo 2008.
By a stroke of luck I had a chance go to the con and I dropped into the AMV 101 panel and the idea of creating AMV was first planted in my mind. The videos that pretty much made me take the plunge were Castor Troy's "Go the Distance" and Nighthawk's "Be a Man". I went home, had a computer set up and have been churning out garbage ever since.
Im not totally sure of what I hope to accomplish here. But editing videos seems to be the only way I have been able to express my creativity ( Or lack thereof ). I hope that I can make stuff that people enjoy and maybe have some fun doing this.
