    About Me
    Sup. I'm SQ. You can call me Q. No, you can't know what SQ stands for. It will forever be a mystery. :P
    I came here in 2002 and stayed until around 2007. I've been off and on since, but I never really left willingly. From 2002 to 2007ish I went to AWA every year. When I get a permanent address or a stable living situation, I'd like to do that again. I love the community here, and I'd like to meet everyone!

    I have an Associate's in Digital Video Production. Graduated in 2008.
    I was a semi-pro editor and script writer for a very small company for about a year. Then the economy bombed and I lost pretty much everything. I joined the Navy, and am now an aviation electronics technician, I-level. After my year of being here, I am now a fire/flood/toxic gas fighter (member of flying squad). I plan to change my job to HT, which is basically a combination plumber/welder, but also deals with damage control stuff. I find it way more interesting than media communications. But I will still forever do video shit for a hobby!


    My AMV History (re-written december 2011)
    I first started editing after I saw Meri's old AMVs. But back then, I didn't have the computer nor the knowledge to make my own videos.

    Time rolled by, and by the time I made my second video and started taking Video Production in High school, I found this site. I had seen a few of AtomX's Final Fantasy AMVs from Kazaa(P2P client, no longer available). I loved FFIX, and I was awed by what scenes he was using. He kept repeating scenes, and I was tired of it, convinced I could make a better video then he could.

    Long story was I think I failed. But any game-based videos I've made, have been from inspiration by his videos. I still love Meri's AMVs. I think she and VegettoEX make a great pair.
    Years and years have passed and friends have come and gone.
    Due to my job (forward deployed US Navy) I can no longer be active in the AMV community.
    However I still greatly enjoy it as a hobby, so I am trying to make at least one video a year.

    I do not think I roll out anything stellar, amazing, or ground-breaking. I always refer to my videos as "average"... But somebody's got to set the bar in order for others to rise above it, am I right?

    Anyway, I have fun with this hobby. I'm not in it for the awards or prestige anymore. So I will just share my own pleasure-driven works with you, and hope you enjoy them as well.
