If you have come to Bask in the glory of the Pilk you have come to the right place. Rumors of my death have traveled far and wide; and I am proud to tell you, much as was already expected, nothing can stop me. NOTHING I SAY!! MUHUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. hahahahahaha.. *cough cough * .. aahahhahaaaa.... that was grand.

Facts about me? well, I began editing late in 1999. Hence all of those "end of world" predictions. Back then there was no WMM so free editing software was next to impossible to find. I did find some pile of crap that had a big beefy 90 day trial, but sadly I only had footage I snagged from planetnamek.com (if you can remember that) and this program didn't have an import for .mov files. So I spent the better part of forever copying each frame I needed and pasting from the clipboard. Tedious and annoying. the 2 VCR method would have been more productive. I completed 2 whole videos this way and began sharing them. This is when I discovered other AMVs (downlaoded mostly stuff from Hsein, Joe, Jasmaster and Brian [ssg]) and 2 short years later, our home the .org. Around this time I acquired a new editing program called MainActor. It was decent for what I needed then, though as time was due to show extremely limited. I completed close to a dozen videos in the course of a year, most of which are listed here. After which I switched over to Adobe Premiere 6.0 and found it much, MUCH more useful. For the past 6 years I have used Premiere as my number one editing program of choice. Along the way I have also picked up AfterEffects, Avid Liquid, Magix, Final Cut, Ulead, etc. This just names a few but this list goes on. And from time to time used each for it's strengths. Editing has been an incredible experience opening doors to new career paths, technologies, and even new techniques (EG: 3d apps like Blender, TrueSpace, Maya, etc.) This year it lead to me returning to school, I enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta and am currently pursuing my B.F.A. in Digital Effects and Motion Graphics. I can even attribute editing to home life. In summer of 2004 I met my wife, she and I began as coworkers but both enjoyed anime. She showed a great interest in AMVs and in 2005 made absolutely stunning videos herself. Four years later we got married and even showed AMVs at our reception in lei of music by itself. In fact last years Expo surprise win from "The Butler's Box Social" was greatly influenced by her. She introduced me to the Host Club, a brilliant series, and provided me with the song "Jesse Buy Nothing... Go to Prom Anyways." I am a simple person with simple with simple thoughts (...obviously) and I prefer it that way. I like my beer cool, my cars fast, my onion rings greasy, and money in my pocket. Keep your eyes pealed because I'm always coming up with another video idea. And it just might surprise you.

Moar random Pilk facts-
* Some say that he can connect to wireless internet via his fingertips, and that his nose is made of Ferrero Roche
* Pilk rescued over thirteen lolis from Charity Hospital following the devestation of Hurricane Katrina. He did not have a boat. He has not returned the lolis.
