JOURNAL: NeoQuixotic (Daniel Steinberg)

  • New/Old Identity 2006-06-29 02:14:17 Hopefully my name change request will be granted, along with others. When I joined in 2001 I simply used the name of my e-mail for a username. Anubisx00 isn't horrible, but it has those damn zeros and I'm not into egyptian stuff. Like hell I remember why I chose that as my e-mail, but its a little late to change.

However, I've used the name NeoPaladin when playing online games. I like that name much better. Neo for new and Paladin for a heroic warrior. NeoPaladin, a heroic warrior of the 21st Century ^_^!

If my name does get changed then my older works will have my old name. At least Animasia has my full name along with my username. Its no big deal. Its not like I'm that well known to begin with. May I be known as NeoPaladin and begin anew!

    (Hopefully :P)

    The forum died..............again!
Must be a mess with all the servers and databases since the site grew in popularity. Bah, its 12:30 am anyways, people in the US of A should be sleeping if they know whats good for them. Wait, why am I awake then? Goodnight people of the net ^_^!
  • Holy 1000th Local Download Batman! 2006-03-14 19:13:15 Here is the lucky 1000th download
    http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?vid_id=78084
The site says I have downloaded 50 GB worth so far. Jeez!

However, I have 884 videos weighing in at 45.7 GB on my harddrive right now. So I've deleted over 100 local videos and that doesn't include any direct videos too. Either I need to devote an external harddrive to AMVs or just start burning to DVDs. I prefer the harddrive method for quick and easy access. But harddrives crash more often than discs going bad. Choices...
  • Holy Crap! 2005-09-06 21:18:02 Over 800 local downloads and still going strong (Note to self: Donate even more next donation time ^_^!)
  • BAH! 2005-07-24 00:39:35 After a full reinstall of XP and a new hard drive and Vegas still won't take fake avi's. It must be some piece of software that is causing the problem. I'll have to uninstall everything and try the one by one. ARGH!!!!!!!!
