Yeah, so that Requiem video I mentioned months ago?
Finally got around to uploading.
Two new videos and more on the way
I really have no idea why after years of one or two a year, I've just been granted some sort of video speed-editing abilities. In a lot of ways, they're a bit better than my older stuff as well, but... I've dropped a Gintama and One Piece video so far, there's a Requiem video done but waiting for me to decide if I wanna throw it in any contests before I load it up, a video with like 12 anime in it just done to see if I *could* do a "various" video which is done but for the final timing and some footage improving, and a semi-complete Spiral video.
It's sort of fun and liberating, actually. O.o

Both have preview. Woo!
After much bucking at the idea, I finally got a... a one of THOSE accounts. That streaming video stuff. But so far I can't seem to bring myself to load anything to it. I was thinking of making it for the old videos I don't wanna mess with the Org about. But I dunno.
On another line of thought... I wonder what people think of releasing a video before the cons you're entering it into have happened. It feels sort of weird, but since some videos are entered into multiple cons, I don't see the difference. I don't know WHY it seems weird.
I just don't know what to make of people anymore.
I get alerts sent to my inbox, but I usually just check them to see if there's a new video by one of the creators I like and then delete it. but it seems like there's always notes in there about new QCs for Animix. So finally today I decided to check them out.
First, I can't believe the number of people complaining it's too long. I mean, for goodness sake, the list of songs used stretches for miles, even if it didn't have the time on there. Isn't that a little like buying a blue car then complaining that it's... well, blue?
And second, I can't believe the number of people comparing it to AMV Hell (Especially AMV Hell 3 I think). IIRC Animix was the first amv to bring together so many creators (I know there were other MEPs before - including one whose name I can't recall off the top of my head but which styarted with ROD and which was absolutely amazing) and really paved the way for things like AMV hell in part. I mean, I think part 1 came out in something like 2003 (Judging by the e-mail address I was using at the time)
Meh. I think I'm just getting too old for this.
CAn't seem to finish a video anymore. Bweh. VCA nominations are complete. I got my first Quick Comment in almost a year. Woot!! And... that's about it.
