Aeri (Claire Gorant)
Well hello there...
I feel that saying, "It's been a while," wouldn't quite do this justice. Going on four years, now - that's more than a while!
Anyway, to the point: I've been working on a little project (nothing terribly world-shattering) as a bit of a warm-up to try and get myself back into the life, as it were. So! If anyone is interested in being a beta, or simply being moral support (rd: someone who will harangue me into actually completing this), drop me a PM.
It's good to be back!
Informing the Public:
Drammatica: The Best of Yoko Shimomura
Armored Core: For Answer Soundtrack
AMAZING. BUY. SUPPORT. GO!
Slightly Off Topic:
I just bought the Xenosaga I & II game for the DS. It's all in Japanese, though, and while I know a fair amount, there's still a lot of technical talk going on, and LOTS of kanji that I haven't been exposed to in classes yet (and probably won't, since a lot of them are probably not words that I will need to know on a regular basis). So, if anyone has some suggestions for a good kanji dictionary, preferably one that I can search through by radicals rather than by the hiragana spellings (seeing as the game doesn't see fit to add those), I would much appreciate it.
Also, because there's still some spots open, the FMV2 MEP! Stop by!
Project FMV2 - Spots Still Open!
Come on, there's still a couple of tracks open, so if you're interested in giving a video game some love, then trek on over here and join in!
Why do things cost money?
Honestly, sometimes it just isn't fair. Now that I've found out about the .hack//G.U. Trilogy film that was released in Japan two days ago, I am all terribly excited about buying it and the soundtrack, which sounds adequately amazing. Of course, then I saw the final price tag, and now I'm divided. While yes, I do have enough money to cover the $80+ price tag, (and that's the cheapest I found) I'm wondering if I really should spend that right now. Oh, why are there so many things I want all the time...
