Is there anyone out there who knows the current progress of this year's Nekocon AMV contest? Number of entries, finalists, playing times, etc.

I'd appreciate any info anyone has on the contest! Just curious, since the con is getting close.

However, according to the staff, the sound for most of the bass intensive songs has really sounded distorted due to either the orignal sound quality and because of the bad acoustics of the room.

Now, this is simply my opinion and my opinion alone, but I honestly believe that Action and Drama and maybe Romance could have been chosen MUCH better. But alas, nothing can be done and absolutely no offense to the winner, but I was quite disappointed in this contest.
