Suncoast Video 5 Anime DVDs for $15

Postby ReligionX » Sat Apr 28, 2007 10:15 am

Suncoast and FYE and whatever other stores they have under the same parent company are running an awesome sale. On a few limited titles you can get 3 DVDs of anime for $12 or 5 DVDs of anime for $15.

I just picked up the entire series of Kiddy Grade and a Lupin III movie for a total of $15.00. They have some of Full Metal Alchemist on this sale, but not the entire series, unfortunately.

I don't know how long the deal lasts, but I think it's going at least for another week or so. They're not advertising it as far as I can tell, and I found out about it by accident when I walked into the store.

What? F.Y.E? I'll have to look into that, I work right next to an FYE. Thanks for the info.

I just went back to the mall 2 days ago, and popped my head into Suncoast. The sale is still going on. I didn't bother to ask when the sale ended since I was in a hurry.

Doing a little research on the sale, F.Y.E. is owned by Trans World Entertainment. I don't know for certain, but you may want to check out the following stores, owned by Trans World Entertainment to see if they are selling anime with the same sale. I haven't heard of half of them, but that doesn't mean that some of you haven't.

F.Y.E.
Coconuts - Music / Movies
Warehouse - Music
Straberries - Music / Video
Spec's Music
Planet Music - The Music Superstore
Saturday Matinee - The Movie Store
Sam Goody
Suncoast - The Store for Movie Lovers

I guess this explains why F.Y.E. "put Sam Goody out of business," in our mall. They're the same company.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. The sign was only posted IN Suncoast. If any of those stores sell anime, just say that someone from Suncoast told you to go to one of those stores and that that sale was going on, even if it isn't being advertised. I got my anime from F.Y.E., and there was no advertisement for the sale on the walls anywhere.

I'm waiting on a FMA boxset myself.
Gonna have to check this sale out. Might find something I never knew I needed. (it happens sometimes)

Yeah I think its because places like Bestbuy are stealing all their business, Suncoast is very expensive for the most part. $30 for an anime dvd x.x and $20 for practically all movies, such a ripoff.
