I Need Adobe Premiere Tutor ASAP

Postby Mystic-G » Sat Apr 28, 2007 3:48 pm

If anyone and I mean anyone is willing to be a tutor for Adobe Premiere, I beg for your help... yes i know that there are tuorials but a tutor is much more useful in this case.

I'll be very appreciative if anyone is up to help out.

To be honest it's for a friend... she's kinda slow when it comes to learning things and she said she'd pay at most $20 a month. If she learns quicker than a month she'll still pay $20.

The thing is, you come in here and ask for any random person to just sit there and teach a software program to you.
But before you posted this, did you stop for a moment to think, "why would anyone want to spend time out of their life to teach this material for free?"

I'm not trying to be rude about it, but just look at what you are asking here. People write tutorials and guides and things to help people learn, and there are also forums here and elsewhere where we are glad to assist if you get stuck on specific things as you are learning. Wanting one-on-one complete instruction is a lot to ask. People sell videos and books, or teach classes for this purpose.

Well if you don't wanna do it for the price then w/e.... that's like going to random jobs telling the manager you're not gonna work for them.

What do you expect? The people who are competent enough in using the program to be able to offer tutoring generally know that there are tutorials out there that you can get free or cheaply. If you're going to get them to want to help out someone who can't learn from those tutorials, then you're really going to have to make it worth their while. Just because some people have high patience levels doesn't mean they want those levels tested.

In short, I suggest you sweeten the deal somehow, or find another friend you already know who might be willing to help you out as a favor.

There isn't much one can do other then point you in the right direction and then help ones they get stuck. Doing it in a class system more or less will not work since one dos not have the hand on approach. Sexual harassment aside you can simple msg me if you have problems, I'll help where I can. Thing is I'm tight on time myself so I can't stand by 24/7 so to say. =/

Like I said she'd be willing to pay $20 a month (if she learns quicker she'd still pay that amount)

I've tutored for (different) programs before it's not like it's high paying job unless ur money hungry.
