I built and flew model rockets too. I still have a bunch of rockets and engines. Haven't done much since my kids grew up.

Things you don't want to know. I'm a pack rat type. I have magazines back to the 50's and 60's. There is the big box of electronic parts that I had in high school, darn, thats 38 years ago, wonder what's in there. Vacuum tubes, ect. I have over 1000 books, a bunch of vinyl records. my first computer. So many memories. Such a big pile of _______.

Also, I watch anime at work, during coffee breaks. We're watching Outlaw Star right now, one episode fits a coffee break.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

I have a really slight OCD issue, and it mainly has to do with putting things in order. The funny thing is, I can let it go out of order when its my own stuff, but if I'm at Best Buy and I notice a DVD out of order, I have to fix it. Another thing that absolutely grates on my nerves is people with hanging calendars on the wrong month. I have to fix it for them or else I feel really uncomfortable. o_o

I have had some form of facial hair since around sophmore year. Mostly just a goatee, but around a year and a half ago I started growing my full beard. I finally tried shaving it ALL off around 3-4 weeks ago, and I looked like I was 12...

I live with 2 other AMV editors :O And they rock. ............. the world... (or "in face")

I am hopelessly addicted to poker (No Limit Texas Hold 'Em specifically). It's one of my favorite activities to do at a con (or anywhere where friends have gathered)

I love playing drinking games, even though I didn't even really "start" drinking until I was 22 (24 now). But only amongst close friends. Especially Kevin, because his laugh is probably the funniest thing ever. My favorite is definitely Circle of Death (or California Kings, or Kings, or whatever other name it has regionally). Flippy Cup is a close second.

I have never seen a single episode of Dragonball/Z/GT, yet I could still summarize the plot and tell you who most of the main characters are, based off of being an anime fan, being an AMV fan, and having friends who are into it.

Although I consider myself a big fan of video games, I am usually not very good at them. The only kind of games I tend to excel at are rhythm games (DDR, Beatmania, etc.)

I like several shoujo anime :o

I am by far a music fan before I am an anime fan. Music has been and will likely continue to be one of my biggest passions. I absolutely love sharing music with friends. My two favorite bands are Sigur Ros and Radiohead.

My favorite series of novels is the Ender's Game series. I've read the whole series all throughout twice, and the first book around 7-8 times.

Then why do most of the songs in the RoS projects suck so horribly?

I'd say the same, but most people here probably know that already :P

Another thing a lot of people probably know already is that anime and even AMVing is actually not that high on my list of hobbies at all, and 90% of my leisure/hobby time is spent on my obsessions with military history/technology in general, and simulation/strategy games specifically. I've probably spent no more than 250 hours AMVing in my whole life, but there is more than a couple of simulation games on which I've run up over 1000 hours of play.

Same here.

AMVing is probably my top hobby right now along with graphics. Though most people probably knew that already. Though probably my less well known hobbies are cooking, sewing and Polynesian dancing. Speaking of dancing, there's another tidbit of info not many people know about me. I was a stripper for a couple months when I was 18. But The hours and college kinda killed me, so yeah, that was short lived. :P

Though i act like i don't care, i'm actually a big environmentalist. I've been known for yelling at people for leaving lights on and cars running. I'm also big on philosophy, though most would argue that my views are contorted and a bit unusual, but i can hold my points well.

I am a perfectionist when cleaning, drawing, or anything that requires creative thinking. I most likely revised this post multiple times changing sentence structure, word choice and other stuff, like with most other posts I made (or haven't made). I also have a bad habit of leaving things half finished, or half-ass things at the end because I am unamused by it. I am left handed although I play the guitar and shoot (guns) right handed.

Growing up I was perhaps the nerdiest and geekiest jock in the town. And I probably still am. I played all kinds of sports before I got into high school and kinda said screw it and joined the band instead... Used to be the best guy on my Baseball team, had the talent to go varsety but all my friends played rec so I stuck with rec. Not to mention I wasn't about to dye my hair orange or shave it off, which was required by all players on varsety...

I still do follow MLB... though I only really follow the Tigers.
