Woot, episode 1!!! :P

Should I even bother using spoiler tags; it's mostly talking about the gags. Anyways, looks like they did sort of stretched the food stuff though I was able to relate to some of them (especially when they're talking about how to finish up a popsicle without spilling which by the way really sucks :x).

And I bet most of you can relate to Konata Izumi quite well with her taking video games and anime watching a much higher priority than anything else! And the fact she has "hundreds" of friends. :o

And that Lucky Channel skit was hilarious especially when Akira shifted from her cutesy voice to her gruffed, pissed-off voice when she talking about getting her paycheck for being an idol!

Judging from the end credits, I can bet there's going to be a different song sung in the kareoke booth. More potential of song spoofs!

Overall, this is a nice, relaxing episode which isn't really groundbreaking. I got around the same level enjoyment when I also watched Hidamari Sketch or even Ichigo Mashimaro. So your level of tolerance of 4koma adapted series and how you get the jokes might determine your enjoyment since the viewers were really split on this.

So true. I laughed quite loud when she showed how she eats ice-cream, since I do exactly the same thing.:D

Watched the first ep, was pretty enjoyable, I actually laughed quite a bit. Nothing beats the intro though...this show sorta reminds me of a cross between Azu Daioh and Pani Poni Dash.

I was thinking cross of Azudai and ichigo mashimaro ;p

Funny stuff nonetheless. Opening is reason enough alone to get this series ;p IOt is quite full of win, and definitely will show up in some amvs I'm sure ;p

Ahaha! Episode 2!

Keroro Gunso and Hare Hare Yukai (Suzumiya Haruhi ED) appearances FTW! Plus, there is a Gunbuster reference! And a Shuffle banner/wallscroll is shown briefly.

I love how Konata spent Golden Week. Yes, I've done that too... And I liked being able to see all of Kagami and Tsukasa's family. It's one of the things I like about these slice-of-life shows.

Wawawawa... And Akira is soooo bi-polar.

Finally, it looks like a different ending song every week. String all the EDs together and it's like one long story or episode (with the characters behind a door in a karaoke room).

Ok... the first part could have been worse, but was the second part really necessary? :?

On the other hand, ep2 was even better than ep1. A nerd couldn't be shown in a more realistic way. Konata can represent every one of us.^^

And Aya Hirano really did well, Konata's voice is awesome. I like it more, each time I hear it.

Don't forget Virtua Fighter (or Tekken) and Taiko Drum Machine (which Hare Hare Yukai is an actual song in the game).

Yeah, but they didn't have to use that song for the Taiko Drum Machine segment. I find it hilarious that Konata is playing the game with a song that she (in another life) sings. PARADOX! :P

And the bit about the cast changing for an anime from the one in the drama CDs is an obvious self-reference. Not to mention that Konata reads an issue of Comptiq which contains the Lucky☆Star 4koma! MOAR PARADOX!! :D

I agree that Aya Hirano is doing a great job as Konata. I really liked the niramekko (staring game) bit in the fast food restaurant. The sound that Konata makes when she starts the game made me laugh.

Also, I wonder how many people started watching "That Giant Robot Fighting with Drills As Weapons Anime" after Konata mentions Giant Robots that fight with drills as a weapon. ;)

And to counter angelx03's parody video, I offer this Lucky Star + Touhou Project video:
