Final Fantasy X and X-2 Problem when ripped

Postby deanic » Tue Apr 03, 2007 3:29 am

Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows why my FFX and FFX-2 are interlaced? and if they know how to fix this problem (which will retain the quality as high as possible). My version is PAL.

That's the reason. You'll need the NTSC version of the games to obtain perfect quality FMVs.

As a stopgap measure you can use the following script (or something similar) to remove some of the interlacing effects from the X-2 videos. (Haven't tested it on X)

Telecide(order=1,guide=2,post=2,vthresh=18,blend=true)
