Hey boss, do you have any clues on which videos will be shown? Or is it still too early too tell? Lockstock just checked out your thought there was an excellent flow to it.

- I need a higher (double) bitrate version of the tekken video.
Also i see theres some static 'spikes' in it, it looks like its from bad capturing. Can those be fixed?
Also it looks to me like you've scaled / zoomed the footage (or captured it in a low resolution). Is it possible to fix this?

- I want to also request for a higher (double) bitrate version of the Soul Calibur videos.

Sorry, but i need these ASAP. The concert is in 13 days ><.

I have no clue about removing the scanlines, I will spend all day messing around with it. The zoom thing I hav no clue what your talking about, cause I capped in 320x480 using virtual dub and re-sized using tmpg. It may have had something to do with the re-sizing process. I will up the bitrate and re-size again and see what I can come up with. Boss, be checking this thread and your email, i'll keep you updated as much as possible, i'll get it done TODAY.

doesn't the PS2 output as 640 x 480? not 320 x 480? Its not the scanlines im worried about, cause they can be removed with deinterlacing, but i mean the little 'static flickers' that happened mostly at the beginning of the video. It looks like there was some interference when you were capturing or something.

ah. I was debating on that footage. That's actually encoded into the footage from the game it's self. Meaning if you have Tekken and watch it on your ps2 on a high def you'll still see those "Special affects." Those aren't scanlines, but apart of the tekken footage it's self. I'll remove those scenes as it is confusing, and re-up another one...

hey boss, i'm getting ready to export a new version with the scene's deleted that looked like they had scan lines. They have been replaced with clearer footage (new footage). I have also upped the bit rate quite a bit and have messed around with the resizing. I will begin uploading within a hour or two..

update

Sorry boss, errors occured during encoding. Everything seems to be working now, will begin upload soon. File will now be encoded into mpeg 2 vbr instead of xvid. Hoping this will fix the zoom thingy.

Also to castor troy, i noticed that your mario clip is deinterlaced (blended).

Could you please upload your video without using blended frames?

I can't believe I left that option on in tmpeg... force of habit. :x

A new one will be up this afternoon.

Edit: Fixed frames version is now up.

2 different re-encoded versions are up.. I have 1 other mpeg that's 161 megs with no sound (for some reason tmpg wouldn't encode the sound) that (I think) looks better then the rest, let me know if you want it uploaded also.

Problem solved. Re-did intro segments and end.

Proper file is called Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection show ready.avi and a .mpg will be going up later.

**********UPDATE*****************

Hey boss, please check your email.

If any other editors can download any of my versions and see if they can help improve the quality I'd GREATLY appreciate it. I'm working on several re-encodes right now to try and fix some scanlines and brightness a bit. Help will be greatly appreciated. The quality just needs to be tweaked as much as possible imo it's just about there.

Hey boss, sorry about this but I got another version going up shortly...

I have successfully removed ALL traces of scanlines thanks to an alternate deinterlace setup someone showed me. The 2 that are on the ftp are great quality, but this one is better. As usual I will be uploading a .mpg and .avi onto the ftp.

This should be the final, final version of the video....

File name will be Tekken 5 - DR revamped.avi and .mpg.

the only thing changed are the scanlines, from the last upload

Thx.

Theres a change needed with the MGS piece (sorry).

Shadownos:
Because its a medley, i gave you somewhat unofficial 'timing'. There are also some parts that will make it hard to see on a big screen.
I have emailed you about it.

Hey boss, did my video finally make it to 100% or show ready yet?

p,s, if needed I think I found a way to include the midi portion of the music encoded into it.
