How to get rid of text in videos?

Postby destiny_rebirth » Tue Mar 27, 2007 11:11 pm

I have been trying to figure this out for a while and tried looking through Premiere Pro 2.0 and no luck on finding out how to get rid of it. Its not the subtitles, but the text that you see in the opening themes. Anybody have a clue on what to do because I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be using PP 2.0 to do this.

Well you have 3 options :

1. Buy the DVD for the creditless version

2. Paint over the credits in photoshop for each frame.

3. If the credits are on one side, you can possibly zoom in on the picture. It doesn't work in all cases though.

well not all dvd have openings without the credits, so I guess it's just a matter of luck. If the credits fade out at some points maybe you can use just this points, if no then you may consider choosing different scenes. Or if you need only character , and are lucky enough to have credits only on the background and not on character you can mask it, and put him on a different background.
