Uhm looks simpel: Something is wrong with ffdshow. Look at the direction of the file in the error message.

So now what can we fix it... Mhmm...

One possibility is to deinstall ffdshow and install the newest version.
If you want to analyse the problem more use this little helper:

Uhm... It could be nice when you give us more info. I miss the simpel info wich programm this is etc.

Isn´t Vista a pain in the ass for editing? I think it´s very hardware eating so I dunno.

I checked it and the ffdshow codec isn't broken. Sorry I forgot to mention I'm loading the script into virtualdubmod.

Yes I do, btw I haven't experienced any trouble editing on vista, although I have tweaked the hell out of it...

IIRC from a discussion i was having with zarxrax on the new amvapp, there are differences in Vista directly related to x264 implementation and there are even more complexities that occur when you use 64 bit vista. Try to see if you can find vista-specific updates for the specific codecs that are giving you issues.

Reinstalling CCCP fixed the problem, I still wish I knew what caused the problem. Thanks Bauzi for the suggestions and BasharOfTheAges.
