You know I'm so used to the females on this site being into yaoi that I totally missed she said yuri instead. Nevermind, it makes perfect sense in her case.

when some girls/people tell me their problems i find it frustrating because i want to "fix it"... i suppose thats more "masculine" of me...

A real man doesn't fix a womans problems. He adds to them.

Hey, I have that 'feminine' trait, but it's actually just a Russian trait to me (applicable to all genders) Rolling Eyes

A lot of my misinterpretable social traits come from being Russian, since emotional expression and sense of relationships are rather different in that culture.

hmm so is my bitchy nature a result of my superior russian genes? O:

Haha, don't get me started on that whole thing

(I'm hardly Russian genetically; it's all in the upbringing)

But it's true that emotional expressiveness here is considered primarily a feminine trait, no?

Haha, true, though I think I meant that a bit more differently from 'emo' or emotional expression in the negative sense (which I think might just prove my point :P )

Alright, anyway, back on topic:
I have a strange preference for male voices (some of which I openly call 'sexy'), and in fact I often find the archetypically female voices creepy or suspicious. Or at least uncomfortable :o

Pawing other girls in public to get guys' attention is very girly. Although maybe it's a Mornington Crescent sort of thing, where we're not supposed to ruin the illusion by saying what it's really about. There's that damn honesty of mine. :eyeroll:

Yeah, if you're straightforward, it's easier to communicate. But people generally don't like that. They enjoy playing mindgames. Otherwise no one would do it, ne? But I was extremely lucky in finding somebody who doesn't mind that I don't play mindgames, so life is good for now. 8-)

Masculine
-I don't give a rat's ass about my appearance.
-I hate shopping...for anything.
-I hate cooking/I can't cook anything but ramen noodles and mac&cheese.
-When my car was refusing to start I backed into parking spaces for 3 months, kept a coat in the trunk, and crawled under the front of my car to jiggle the wires so I could start my car when it came time to go back home. If I can handle it myself I'll go through hell before asking for help.
-I don't like chocolate.
-I hate perfume and smelly lotions.
-I refuse to put anything in my hair (hairspray, gel, etc).
-If someone catches my eye in public, it's more likely to be a girl than a guy.
-If a guy hits on my in public I get angry.
-I refuse to wear makeup.
-I go to the men's section when I buy shoes because women's shoes are too ugly and girly.
-The only necklaces I wear have thick black-silver dragons, gargoyles, and skeletons hanging on a long black "string".
-I scorn girly movies.
-I can lose weight any time I want by eating less for a week.
-I like to buy and wear men's button up shirts.
-I like science fiction series like Star Trek TNG.
-I have huge rock-like calve muscles and could outpace most of the guys in my college weight lifting class.
-I hate cleaning my apartment.
-I'd rather use plastic silverware and paper plates than have dishes that need to be washed.
-I like manual labor jobs.

Feminine
-I like to wear pretty dresses for special occassions.
-I like to own long dangling gaudy earings (though I never wear them).
-I like to own slender silver necklaces with little sparkly pastel stones (though I never wear them).
-I love long hair - buzz cuts and intentionally bald people gross me out.
-I have to take my car to the shop to get an oil change.
-I ask for directions.
-When my best friend calls we chat for hours until she runs out of minutes.
-I drink coffee like it's water (don't know if that's a girl thing, but I got it from my mom).
-If I eat chinese takeout I gain 8 pounds.
-I like cats and hate dogs.
-When I go shopping it takes me forever to find a pair of pants that fit (I have curves).
-I get short tempered once a month and start craving chocolate (which I normally hate).
-I like yaoi and I'm straight.
-I hold grudges like you'd never believe.
-I keep my fingernails long (though I refuse to paint them).
-I read girly romance novels, even if most of them annoy the crap out of me.
-I giggle and give fangirly squeels when I'm sure no one's around to hear it.
-I feel guilty when I see a hitchhiker and I have an empty car (though I'll never stop unless it's a woman with children).
-When I'm upset food makes me feel better.
-I have very high arches in my feet so I walk on my "toes" like a barbie doll (hence those huge calf muscles).
-I was obsessed with horses as a kid.
-I had a huge crush on Jeff Goldblum once.
-I keep tupperware so I never have to waste food.
-I love bubblebaths and hate showers.
-I like looking at and smelling pretty flowers.

Holy crap. I'd say 80% of those points apply as much to me. I'm curious whether that speaks to Ari being too masculine, me being too feminine, or just a case for individuality (which it really should be).

But geez, too many coincidences. Yes, even a one-time fixation on Jeff Goldblum

Maybe it's just him. Goldblum had the sexiest voice - anyone who doesn't believe it can close their eyes and just listen to him talk. Ah... I'm not crushing anymore, but I still love his voice. ^_^

Me, I've thought for years that I was a guy in my past life. I just dislike too many things 'female'. Unfortunately I was either a gay guy or a virgin prude since breasts make me queasy. That would explain so much.

So Otohiko is Arigatomina's alter personality? Or vice versa. Wow. I'm not sure if that makes me regret asking her to marry her awhile ago or just desire it more. Considering the 'if a guy hits on my in public I get angry' statement I would regret it if I were nice. Considering I'll probably never met her in real life I'm not sure I see a reason to be nice.

Anyway, her list did remind me of one very female trait I have. I don't know jack shit about cars and have no interest in learning. AFAIK you press one foot thingie and it goes forward. The other foot thingie makes it stop. If those two statements are true you're fucked.

I also have a slight tendency to forget things like changing the oil. I only check my tires when they're low enough that the car noticeably tilts one way or another (god help me if all four tires are equally low, I'd never figure it out). I still haven't learned what rotating my tires is much less actually do it. When I finally get around to changing the oil every 10,000 miles or so the guy tells me he tops my fluids. I can only hope he's telling the truth. Despite this the only problem I've ever had with cars is letting my wife drive them. She totaled three cars in four years at one point and eventually just said fuck it she's never driving again. Once I got ahold of her car keys and hid them I haven't had a car problem since.

Unlike a female, I actually do know how to drive though.

I also seem to lack basic english skills. I suspect that should go in the 'male trait' category.

Oh, that's just strangers. I adopt a "don't approach me, ew, go away" appearance when I go out in public. If a strange guy ignores that and hits on me anyway, I get very annoyed. I don't even like it when they make eyes at me. How far down do I have to dress to hang out without being the token female? Desperate, much? >.< There are way too many girls who spend hours dressing up for attention for strange guys to be bothering me.
