...so what exactly is anime talk?
and why do you need amv-ers?

details of what you are planning might draw more people in
your first post wasn't really informative (and hard to read)

it sounds interesting, but it's pretty ambitious, and with all the meps that are lined up right now, you might be hard-pressed to find good editors with some free time.

Kariudo: Ok I will go a little more in depth.
Anime Talk is like a talk show.
I Me and my friend started this project both of use audio editors and the voices for the host to the show.
I have done quite a few amvs so I thought it would be no problem to do the video work.
But we have been getting bigger and better ideas and what I can do is limited or shanty work if you will.
In the show(it will be like a series of the shows that will have seasons and such) we will do things like review Animes have special quests like this first episode we have an interview with Kurisaki Ichigo from bleach and we can do good voice acting so we voice him to say the lines we want.
Its supposed to be funny and fun.
as of right now there is even an amv contest for it to get your amv into the first show.
we are always open to ideas on what you would like to see in the show.
scripts are/have been written and the voice acting is being produced we have the first two parts of the show done in the audio department.

If you want to know anything else feel free to ask questions.

also we want to make this 100% free as to not make people less encouraged to watch and because we don’t believe in making people pay this will be a big project and as I have said every one will be credited fully for the contributions to the show.

We will also stay a reference as to someone who you can put down on your resumes as you where part of this project.

The real point of the project is to create something entertaining and to have the people on the staff have something extra to put on there portfolio as experience.

Live Action editing is just the BEST, I mean that's where all the REAL work comes in. most AMVs I'd tried, the anime/ song combinations are simply SO refined (ie I'd thought about them for SOOOO long... like 1.5 years at least...) that I'll have 5 different choices of scenes that will fit... and sometimes I don't even pick one of the chosen scenes but one sneaks through as being even better! It may be that I mull over my decisions so much, or, as I am starting to believe, anime can be translated in SO many different ways that really your possibility's are pretty numerous. I mean, anime directors are pretty insightful and creative themselves (the good ones at least) and that's what makes amv editing so fun. That's one reason to hate H-game sims... I guess lol their not as versitile as the better amv footage be it Bleach, DBZ or Azumanga Daioh.

Not that hollywood directors do not make versitile music vid material as well. The most fun I'd had editing was editing a Final Fantasy 12 video walkthrough here. The tricky thing here was, given a 'little' improv, doing a documentary peice such as this you only have one way you can go. Getting the timing right without boring your audience is key, I mean you can't record the audio as you play the game in such a long peice. It was the most fun, the biggest challenge by far, that I'd ever had editing.

On the other hand you can attribute this to any type of live action thing. Also it may be that longer pieces will be much more fun to you... if you enjoy a challenge as I do -_-.

Uhm... To this project: yes and no.

On one hand I would need a good voice actor for a concept (for my own ideas).

On the other hand I´ve alot of current projects now and the contest time is comeing. Well I don´t have time for such things now, but I´ll contact you about my idea when I have time again. You seam to have the expirience I need.

Setting up an amv as talk-show (that´s what I read out of your text):
Yeah it could work and I´m thankful that you want to hire up new editors with better software equiptment etc. That´s good!
I think the main idea could work with more short cuts of such shows. More little acts and set it up as... well an amv-hell. I know that there are already enough of this hell type amvs, but I think this is the only way to describe the idea.

So again...: When I search for voice actors I´ll contact you again :)

That sounds of a better idea! I like that. Could turn out interessting.

Sry I´m foreign. So does this mean that I shouldn´t ask someone of you for a voice act in one of my amvs? I would need a single person.

lol yeah, I caught that after I posted. See thing was you posted it in general amv, named the 'topic' with a question. And even posed a philosophical question in your first paragraph. Unfortunately, I read no further than that but... meh. Anyway consider it as an advertisement! Your idea sounds interesting!!

*tries to read through the posts*

Yeesh, I'm sorry, but when someone butchers the language to that extent I just stop reading. I would suggest you concentrate more on finding someone with decent English skills before you try to find an AMV editor...assuming that's what you're looking for...most of what you wrote was simply incomprehensible to me. If English isn't your primary language then finding a fluent English speaker who can work with you should definitely be your top priority.
