Trying to find hosting:
I need some help finding someone to host my AMVs, I'd really prefer something free, but I suppose I'd pay if I ABSOLUTELY have no other choice. Also, I've heard some talk about certain places hosting not only their own, but other people's videos too...anyone know anything about that?

passing my video off to you
How shall I transmit it to you? Also, do you have any advice for hooking up with a studio?

If you could put my AMV to your site, that would be great.
My own Geocities does not give much options for them and I don't want to wait my friend to do something about his own webpage (where we have planned to put our AMV:s)
It's about 4min long using song 'Bad Boys' (Inner Circle) with footage from AD Police & BGC. I don't have it's size here since it's on other computer.

For you guys on broadband you really should try making your machine an FTP server or an actual webpage server; I, for one, use Apache (http://www.apache.org which is free. If you do opt to go this route I can't suggest purchasing a firewall enough.

Glad to See This Thread :-)
I just joined a few days ago, and was going to post a similar thread when I saw this one
After reading through some of the guides, I figured the best thing to do for now is to create my own Web site with information about the videos I have created and an address where people can reach me (sending a video/CD mailer and appropriate return postage). I started working on the Web site today and will make it part of my larger FeatherSites (http://feathersites.angelcities.com/) - hopefully by the end of the week.
Most of my AMVs are 30-40MB each, although a few are short (about 15MB), and one is over 6 minutes long (about 70BM).

Well....i'm off to make few finishing touches to Bad Boys and take it out from the computer. Otherwise it will be another three years before I get it up:)
