Premiere Pro 2.0 and 24fps

Postby Hero4Hyrule » Tue Mar 06, 2007 10:22 pm

I am currently READFAGing... (Is that the proper why to reference it?) Anyway, I am reading through the guide and am at the point concerning 24fps video in Premiere. The guide says that it does not work with 1.5 or below. Will it work with 2.0? The adobe website boasts that it can, but I thought I would double check.

Thank you for the help.

You sure it says it can't? I've been editing 24FPS for about a year now with no problems. Are you sure you're not confusing it with 23.976FPS?

I don't see any reason 2.0 won't support. I've got a trial downloading at home so if no one confirms or denys this by then, I'll try it out.

Sorry, my mistake. The guide says that earlier Premieres do not work at all with 23.976fps and Pro 1.5 can, but not very well. I have the full version of Pro 2.0. I can test it myself, but thought I would ask first.

Nol, 2.0 still doesn't do it. Following the guide's suggestion (editing at 24fps with faster audio and then readjusting) is still the best way to go.
