Music is a drug...

Postby Zerophite » Thu Oct 10, 2002 10:34 pm

Why couldn't I have picked a less expensive drug...like huffing CO2? All I need is a bottle of Sprite and I'm good for the night >< But I had to be a music addict. haha, oh well.

My latest purchases include Shakkazombie "The Goodfellaz", Air "Premiers Symptomes", Marumari "The remixes", TOOL "Aenima", some weird Konami remake CD...O.o (basically, a really awesome Suikoden

I've only heard one Shakkazombie song before I bought their CD, and this CD rules...

Anyway, over 100$$ in 2 days on music...I should stop...><

Well, the Shakkazombie Cd and the Suikoden remake CD came out to 69$$ >< all the others I used my sister's discount at Borders on *laughs*

I shouldn't have spent that much...because I need to buy somethings before my trip. But oh well ^^; I've listen to all the CDs a good couple times already...I've rarely looked back upon a music purchase and saw it not worth the money...I only fully regretted Rush's "Vapor Trails", which was a huge letdown...

i know where youre coming from, i actually feel regret if i dont spend money on a cd that i see, regardless of my financial situation.
I just remind myself of the horror that would be incurred if i couldnt find the cd later

Yeah, there are some CDs out there that if you see, you just must buy. Like the Spirited Away OST. It's just something you must own.

Music comes in all forms and in many ways. Some come free for now, but they may lead to much trouble later. Beware tho, many of an evil exist within free music, they are named Viruses. Retrieve them only at your own cost.

Choose wisely the vessel whihc you choose to open this new world. Kazaa is one of many resources but within, it holds dark and annoying ads, evils of immence annoyance. Kazaa may be a world in which you may choose as a vessel.

WinMx has become many of the like of Kazaa but it has yet to reach to many of a people. Thou may not always finish retrieving what one asks.

Many othe rvessels exist for which to choose this path of freedom, but beware that as such, you have entered a world of crime.

Find a job, my friend. For it is your friend. It'll lead to many a trouble, but a job will lead to much more happiness and pleasure.

I've been trying to either get used CDs or CDs cheaply through BMG. Neither has great selection, but I try to go to those two sources first. I just ordered Sublime's s/t thru BMG (for about $8 total) and I bought Oasis's collection of B-sides, The Masterplan (excellent collection) used for $4.
