the fmvs for ffxii are widescreen and ffx is full screen so 640x352 is correct.

MaggIvy wrote:The 640 by 352 or 640 by 416 (which ffx and x-2 use) or something completely different?...which ones do you guys recommend? The original size is, 512 by 352.

Please and thank you.

Sorry, I just have one more quick question about aspect ratio with the ff 12 Japan rips. I know its been mentioned how they are entirely widescreen but I had a look at them using DGIndex and in there it says the aspect ratio is 4:3, making them full screen...the original size is exactly as above though. Is it possible to have a wide screen frame size even though its aspect ratio is 4:3? Two of the clips required cropping and doing so brought the width down to 352 to.

I just thought I'd bring it up, so are you sure that 640 by 352 is correct even when DGIndex says its full screen?

Please and thank you again...

dgindex is only saying 4:3 because thats what the stream headers say (or lack of, so it's default i guess)... the footage is 16:9
