Thx for the BETAs guys, they're looking good.
Best of luck in getting the final version done :-)

Should we be expecting feedback as to parts you don't like and would like us to change?
Always looking for the next bad idea.

Feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently uploading a COMPLETE version of my Drakengard 2 video.

The video and amv editing is complete. I just need help on a few technical things.

Mainly I need to add a letter box through out the whole video so it doesn't keep switching from wide to full screen. I've tried basic cropping in virtual dub, but obviously that crops out the full screen image... The footage is 4:3 aspect ratio, it's just that some of the footage has the letter box/black bars and some doesn't.

Other editors feel free to critique my video's as MUCH and as harsh as you want.

***************update**********************
Problem has been solved. I just removed the widescreen bars and forced entire video to fullscreen keeping the ar intact.

If any other editor needs the guide, I used the one on this page.

Even if we can't get an autograph copy of the program/schedule can you still send us a hard copy since our names will be on it (for resume purposes).
If our vid is show 8-)

bump for deadline purposes.

Deadline is 26th March 2007.

Isn't tomorrow the deadline? My final versions of Tekken will be up within the next few hrs.

1 with regular ending (without 30 seconds)

1 with extra 30 seconds of footage as requested by the boss.

I've uploaded a somewhat time complete beta meaning that I've filled the timeline with the majority of the clips I want to use. I've been requested to make it feel more nostalgic like the games are actually playing rather than all effects. So the majority of the beta is mostly just raw game footage with very little effects. I will definitely tweak it as much as I can before the deadline.

I've got a completely redone beta uploaded and I'd seriously appreciate any feedback on it.

If you do wanna give any, please pm me with it. Thanks.

EDIT:

BTW, you'll want beta 3

ShadowNOS

Just checked out your new beta. Glad you removed the 30 sec+ falling scene from the original teaser. I really like the flow of this beta much better. For some reason it reminded me of Black Hawk Down.
Hopefully the Orchestra can keep up with a few of your cuts. Can't wait for the final version and i'm not even a mgs fan.. The video quality was damn good too.

Still looking for someone to critique my Drakengard 2 vid (get the file that has Technical in i) it's fully done!

ShadowNOS how long is the song you got?

About 4 mins, and yeah, I'll be slowing down some of those cuts or at least extending the transitions. I was in hurry to get back to where I was since some difficulties got in the way causing me to redo the whole thing. Although I'm glad I restarted, its much better now.

Is this thing still alive? There seems to be only 4 active members on it... From what I can tell..

define "active" :P

just because people don't post in a thread or upload beta's all the time doesn't mean they're not working on their tracks.

not necessarily meaning upping beta tracks, but some updates every now and then about the whole project would help.

Lockstock: Your location says Australia, will you be attending Fantasia?

also, does anyone know if a dvd of the concert will be available to buy or for free  for video editors?
