I hope they do rush Ayu's arc and then cover what comes after (ever watch Kazahana?) Cause I have nothing but <3 for Ayu, but I did like Nayuki fairly well too.

I haven't watched the original Kanon series and I haven't played the game but this series is just too cute to be left out of my collection.Kyoto Animation banzai!!!
I'm already preparing an amv in expectation of a good ending although episode 20 second half was pretty sad.
Anyway, only 4 episodes left (although AniDB speaks for 23 episodes according to the list...)

Episode 21....oh boy!
Yuuichi is now down with the dumps now since Ayu disappeared so Nayuki tried her best to cheer him up. Also with the help of Kitagawa, they assisted Yuiichi in finding that special item which was an angel doll Ayu buried 7 years ago. There were also some flashbacks that feature more about Ayu and Yuiichi and how that school of theirs came about. Also there was a flashback of young Yuuichi crying, and Nayuki tried to cheer him up by giving him a snow bunny she made. He responded to it by knocking it over. Older Yuuichi later realized this how much he hurt Nayuki.

Episode ended with Akiko getting hit by a car!
The ending to episode 21... *wince*

Nothing like getting slapped by brutal, cold, harsh, unadulterated reality.

Oh shit, episode 22!
Well this episode is freakin' depressing!

- Nayuki now shuts herself out towards anyone.

- More revelations revealed especially when Yuuichi discovered how much of a jerk he was towards Nayuki.

- In addition, Yuuichi finally remembers what happened to Ayu. Gah, I remember that scene being excruciating, but not like this!

- That scene where Yuuichi is going against the snowy winds proves that he finally snapped especially with everything he has remembered and what he did.

- And there's a surprise visit of Makoto!
2 more episodes left!

KyoAni has definitely continued to impress me the entire way through this series so far.

Spoiler-GARD wrote:Yuuichi has finally remembered, and goes rushing off to try and find Ayu. How on earth does he manage to run around in these freezing temperatures and high winds with no gloves and not have his hands freeze?

Makoto's appearance was a welcome surprise. I'm glad she's not gone entirely. Now if we could get news about Shiori, that'd be nice. Even in passing, since she's at the hospital, too, along with Mai and Saiyuri, if they haven't been discharged yet.

I'm very, very curious as to what path they've chosen to conclude this series with, as we're rushing toward the game's final decision branch.

Did anyone else notice the respirator noises throughout the preview? Ayu's or Akiko's, I wonder.

Only two episodes left? I thought there was word it'd be 26.

must be 24, judging by the pace they are going into the ending. There isn't a whole lot more to do in this series that would span 4 more episodes, unless they choose to do a different ending than the original series.

Must say, Kyoani is nailing all the emotion in the most important parts more than perfectly. This will go down as an icon probably on par or better than Air.

I hope they do tell us something regarding Shiori's arc aswell.

next episode is red finale, so im guessing the final episode is blue finale which is Nayuki's ending, is this a good thing or a bad thing? =(

OK, with that bit about Ayu, her whole arc became Fucking Creepy (TM).

Now, here's a question: why the fark do all these chicks hang around Yuuichi? He's like the kiss of death or something!

i hope yuuichi uses the last of the 3 wishes for Ayu instead of Akiko (this is what I'm speculating) but the way the series is heading it really does look like a Nayuki based ending =|

btw I think Ayu disappeared a couple of episodes ago was because she remembered what happened to her, just like when Yuuichi was telling Makoto not to remember about the past and miracle before.
