besides most distrobuted video footage is going to be in codecs that are buggy and hard to edit with because they make the files smaller...

do anyone knew where to get codecs so i could maybe inport a xvid in Movie maker?

Near as I know, regardless you shouldn't try to edit with XVID as it just doesn't really work out. Could you go through exactly what you tried to do after I mentioned re-encoding? Did you read the guide I posted above?

can you view the file in windows media player? (if the answer is yes, then you have the codec)

The clip is whatever it is that you want to edit. Once it is done encoding, just open the new file up in WMM and it should work

the video you already dled, the one that wont import to wmm... vdubmod should be able to handle it

bather sayd i get a bug does someone knew how to uninstal/reinstal Windows movie maker? i want to instal a other version of it but just instaling doesn't work

i hawe done it but now i can iport just whean i want to give something in the timeline my Movie Maker closes so the codecs dont help me here=/ what shall i do? un instal Movie maker?
