Ef i try to inport a video i get this error i will copy it for you becouse i dont knew the name of the error:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\uporabnik\My Documents\BitTorrent Downloads\[A&F]Final Fantasy VII - Last Order\[A&F]Final Fantasy VII - Last Order.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.


What shall i do please help

Download GSpot, unzip, and run. Use it to open the vid you want. It should tell you what was used to encode the file

xvid <-- thats wat it says please dont isay i cant open it all my videos are xvid so i cant make a AMV=/

Well, it's a general truth that XVID hardly ever (if ever?) works out for editing. However, do not despair! (god that was cheesy). All you have to do is re-encode it! Just use VirtualDub to do this. I think this can explain things a lot better than I can (I would also suggest getting AMVApp as it bundles all the needed software into one convenient package)

nope it isnt working :( ok i give up i just wount make any AMV maybe i am not made to make good amvs
