Ok, I want to ask, what are frame rates in vegas? And how do I make 30 frames per second?

Frame rates is the number of video frames that you see in one second.

If you are making clips using AVI Synth, you can just add AssumeFPS(29.97) to achieve that. And I know when you create a new project, you can set the Frame Rate to something like 29.97. Aside from that, I dunno. Still learning the program myself.

i think 29.97 isn't the same as 30 fps cuz youtube asks to upload 30 fps video for higher quality not 29.97

anyway...sry for double posting ummm to make it 30 fps in vegas, go to file > properties and go to frame rate click in it and type in 30
