Advice for MEP's please help

Postby cycangfx » Thu Feb 08, 2007 7:19 pm

I need some advice on Multi Editor Projects.

a)what are the main information you need to include for the project (other than the song and arcs).
b)Do you use a album of a singer or just a song?
c)If everyone is making a diffrent song how does it come out as a single AMV at the end?
d)For ex I am using vegas and I want wide screen aspect ratio how will I do this with everyone as not everyone will be using vegas

Thanks in advance.

This depends on the MEP. Some use whole albums, others (like The Children Project) just use one song.
Some of the ones that use whole albums are made with albums that were already made to be nonstop megamixes, so each song flows right into the next without a break (like the DDR Projects and the AniMixes).

Still others use customized mixes of songs that the coordinators got somebody to put together (or put together themseles) (like the Reflections of Style series).

Still others use all sorts of different songs, but have little interludes in between each set (like Animasia).

In short, you can do it any way you want.

See those two stickies on top of the forum labeled What Makes A Good MEP and advice for project coordinators? I know it's a crazy thought but maybe, just maybe, those two threads give some advice on Multi Editor Projects. So I suppose the very first possible tip on making a good project is to be at least semi-literate. Which puts the bar on heading a MEP quite low and yet still, unfortunately, far far above you. My advice would be to give up on every making a MEP and instead concentrate on producing yet more Naruto action videos. The site just can't get enough of those.
