dvd/vol/ifo to mpeg

any1 know a good (and free) file converter? (mine crapped out on me about 15 mins ago), .IFO/.VOL(those atleast are the files i get from copying my dvds) to mpeg 1, ive tried googlin it and no good results or found "free for 54.94"

You're ripping your DVDs wrong. The files you want are .VOB files. <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/videogetb.html">Read</a>.

If you're not using DVD Decrypter, www.doom9.org should have a good ripping tutorial for SmartRipper somewhere.

k, ( i just new the file started with vo then som eletter after that)
when i used the converter it converted the IFO files, know of a better converter?

Change the setting to rip the VOB's in DVD decrypter. Once thats done you can work with the VOB's in alot more converters.

Use DGIndex along with meGUI.
