hello, i deceded a week or so ago that i wanted to make a evangelion amv, i looked in to it and everything. got a dvd decrypter to copy the files on my comptuer, and a converter to make them mpeg files.

(here's where my problem comes in)

i know that windows movie maker can automatically make clips, i got it to work on ff7:ac, but for evangelion it wont. does the whole creating clip thing.... but doesn't atcualy make them... ive tried using my eva. files in mpeg, and avi and no luck :'( can any1 help me?

Did you accidentally turn off the clip creation option?

ive also tried it on several other files and it works fine, just wont on the 1's copyed from dvd and converted... i don't get it...@.@

(forgot to add this)

the dvd converted videos upload fine, just as 1 long 22 mins clip and when i right click and select "create clips" it starts its little cound down and doesn't make any

(asi said only wont work on my dvd converted files(mpeg)) know of antoher converter that you know works well?

i don't know a thiink about codec's i belive i picked DivX 5.2.1 codec

There are times when WMM just won't make clips. I've had it work with DivX back in my days of using crappy Downloaded footage. Changing the codec may help, but don't be surprised if it does not.
