Play him any of dwchang's videos, the ensuing tears will flush out the lens flare.

I don't currently own any pets, but I feel the need to show off the brood of ducklings and goslings that my family owned a few years ago. :P

They came to us in a box (yes, via the USPS), each just barely two days old. They were all bundled together for warmth.
Image

We soon moved them to a bigger box and gave them their first bit of food.

We gave away two goslings and two duckies on the third day because ten of the little rascals were too much to handle in a suburban home. :/

Baby waterfowl tend to grow super-fast, and just a week later they were ready to play in the water!

Something down there?

Haha, gotcha!

They got big enough that we gave them their own pen in the yard.
Image

Occasionally we'd let them roam free a bit (under close watch, of course). It always seemed like the geese were babysitting their cousins. :P

"What kind of mischief shall we get them into today?"

And then, only about three weeks later...

My little babies were all growed up! :P

I have a lot more pictures, but to post them all would require a thread of my own, heh.

We kept them for the summer, but it soon became painfully obvious that raising waterfowl wasn't going to be possible at our home. They were very social and wanted constant playtime with us outdoors. When we were busy doing stuff inside the house, they would keep coming to the windows and pecking on the glass, trying to get us out. :( Also, the foxes got a whiff of these birds and started to prowl through our yard at night. They were rather sneaky and even tried to dig through to the duck shelter , and the poor ducks got really spooked. So in the end, we had to give them all away to a friend who owned a farm.

Someday, when I'm old and grey and own an estate in the countryside, I'd love to have me some pet ducks and geese again. :)

Those birds are actually unbearably cute :3
I'd post pics of rats, but I cannot find them.

I have a cat. Here is my cat.

Image should look familiar, lol.

Her name is Minnie, and I'd give more pics of the family dog, other cat, and now dead guinea pig, but the place where I hosted them isn't responding right now. >_>
